Web Design Class

I had really meant to focus more on dA and practice more but college life took over. I can't believe I've been in college for just over a year now! Even though I'm majoring in business management, I still have a strong interest in graphic design & coding so I decided to pick up a web design class. We each have to design a website from scratch as we move along the material we learn. Its due towards the end of the semester so I still have a couple months to work on it. So my dA MIGHT just get some action for a change.

We had to submit a request for what we wanted to do our website on.. and my request has been approved! GLBT Rights & Equality! <3 I am so pleased with this. I'm hoping to be able to make a lot of my own graphics instead of using whats out there that we can give credit to (as a credit page is mandatory, thankfully!). It would just be nice to be able to credit myself more than others, especially for a topic I am so passionate about! :]

That's alright, no big deal.
Congratulations on doing so well with your project.
Must be nice to have some down time right now.
It's been raining here all week, it sucks so much, looks like today it will be a little better though.
Looks like the weather isn't that great where you live either lol, I wouldn't want to swap places haha. As long as it's not freezing it should be alright though.
I'm doing alright I suppose, not much going on.
I will be happy when this month is over, that's for sure.

Thank you! And yes, it is fabulous to have down time! Possibly going to take a vacation to New Orleans via train - just because during this break. :)
I really don't mind if its cold - IF - there is snow involved. Enough snow for it to qualify as a "winter wonderland". Freezing temps are not worth it if there isn't fun to go along with it!
I agree. The end of this month marks a brand new beginning for 2012. This year has gone by so fast at times and its been up and down. While I will enjoy having a break until Jan 9th - I still will welcome a clean slate for 2012! ^^
Have any big plans for the new year yet?

Aah New Orleans that's quite close to where my aunt lives, where do you live again?
I only like snow for a few days because you know, with my horse and all - it's outdoors so it can get a little annoying but I would much rather have cold and dry weather than this sh*tty rain lol. Except that when it's this wet and it starts freezing it's going to be slippery as hell. Last year I slipped and I was all bruised up.

No big plans, I guess. I'm planning on getting a job and I want to go to LA and just try to maybe enjoy life again. How about you, do you have anything big planned for 2012? :)

OUCH! Yeah when it turns to ice - I do not like it at all. I remember one of the houses we lived in during my childhood the driveway had a little bit of a slope to it and it would always ice over. The problem was that the door was just at the start of the ice so many a times as a little girl I'd end up falling trying to go inside and slide down the driveway! I didn't much like that but looking back on it now, I find the humor. :)
LA sounds like fun! I wish you the best with a new life there! :) As for me, I am just going to focus on school. It is going to keep me busy until 2013 between completing a major & a minor. I've tried working a couple times this year but caring for my husband (disabled Army vet) and school, its hard to find a job that will work with both aspects together. The only thing I'd love to add to the crazy mix is a baby. Becoming a mom would absolutely complete my world. ^^
